Note from us, the Owners: We are a husband and wife team located locally in Blue Ridge with our own fur babies.
We know the stresses of packing and traveling with pups (we bought a roof rack to fit everything!). But at Shiny Apple Cabins, you can pack light, leave the stress at home, and get ready for Blue Ridge Mountains air, rest, and adventure.
We go beyond dog amenities, beyond dog friendly - we work hard for your family to experience Dog Devoted®.
- 🐾 ZERO Pet Fees: You will never pay a nightly or per stay or per dog charge to bring your dogs. They're your kids!
- 🐾 No Breed or Weight Restrictions: From tiny zoomie-machines to giant bed hogs, from fluffers to commonly-referred-to bully breeds, the whole pack is welcome at Shiny Apple Cabins.
- 🐾 Secured Fenced Yards: Designed for off-leash freedom in our fenced yards secured by welded wire mesh—so you need not worry. Of course, be mindful of escape artists!
- 🐾 Multiple Pups Welcome: Because family vacations include everyone. Up to 3 or 4 pups welcome (depending on the cabin).
- 🐾 Dogs Welcome on Furniture: Sleepy snuggles in bed and couch naps are highly encouraged!
- 🐾 VIP Supplies Provided: Pack less! We provide 36" crates, orthopedic crate pads, dog towels, blankets, poop bags, sanitation supplies, lint rollers, paw wipes, flat sheets.
- 🐾 Private Dog Park: Even more space for pups to zoom, sniff, and play off-leash in privately owned Blue Ridge Private Dog Park. Available for your exclusive use for a nominal fee.
- 🐾 Towels, Blankets, Couch Covers: Fur, Mud, Wet Paws, Drool - all welcome here, because pups have all their own washable (we'll do it!) items.
- 🐾 Dog First Aid Kit: We care. We've got you covered.
- 🐾 Dog Food Mats and Bowls: A special place in these Dog Devoted® cabins to dine for all.
- 🐾 Exterior Motion Sensor Lights, Lanterns, and Flashlights (good ones): Always be able to spot your pups and your surroundings.
- 🐾Dog Friendly Blue Ridge, from Locals: Curated list of dog friendly activities and restaurants and veterinarians when you stay (we tested them on our own dogs!).
- 🐾Connect with your Pups: We consulted with dog trainers and dog behaviorists about different in-cabin activities and amenities.

- 🐾 Dog Dedicated Places to Lounge: Lounge on the dog hammock on a covered deck. With a view. Or in the game room on the dog bed (or the human beds - you choose).
- 🐾 Convenient Hydration and Bathing: Two (2) dedicated outdoor water hydrants in the fenced yard and a handheld shower wand in the tub.

- 🐾 Freedom to Securely be with Family: Pups sprawl out on the gated deck or on the dog hammock next to you under the stars while you soak in the hot tub to the sound of the creek just below.
- 🐾 Direct Creek Access: The cabin's private dock leads right into the wide trout creek. A perfect spot for dogs to cool their paws, explore, splash and swim! (if Mom and Dad approve).
