The Bear's Creek Retreat

The owner is an amazing host. The cabin is beautiful and she has thought of EVERYTHING from the linens and towels, to the perfectly appointed kitchen, even washing machine pods…. , there was literally nothing that we needed once we got there.
The cabin is beautiful, beds and bathrooms are comfortable and luxurious, the location is serene…. It was the perfect setting for a family get away! 

This place was great and the perfect getaway for our family before Christmas. The house was stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of supplies for our 2 dogs. Easily the most dog friendly Airbnb we have stayed at, and our 2 dogs absolutely loved the surrounding area and the dog park just across the street. From the hot tub to the fireplace to the fire pit to the peaceful river running out back, this place has everything you need for the perfect family vacation. The location is absolutely perfect! You are far enough away from town where you feel like you are on vacation on the mountain, but close enough (10-15 minutes) to downtown Blue Ridge to have a little fun without the worry of a long drive. Downtown has everything - great food, shopping, breweries, among other fun things to see and do. We will definitely be back visiting here again (or the nearby SUM FUN) and I could not give this place a higher recommendation!    

A perfect little get away for us and our German Shepherd. The house was great-incredibly clean, tons of extra blankets which is a really nice touch, and beautiful surroundings. Our dog loved the creek! The bed was really comfortable and the shower was simply amazing! Close to Blue Ridge, a really cute downtown with great shops and restaurants. 

This cabin is a little gem! The interior is incredibly beautiful and comfy, all the details and more are covered and you feel right at home! The river is such a plus, it’s the perfect peaceful spot for a get way from the city! My kids loved all the dvds, games, and the hot tub! We had so much fun counting all the bears!! 🐻 Only downside is we didn’t stay longer!! ♥️  

We loved our stay at the Bear’s Creek Retreat! Excellent host! We felt so pampered! Her attention to details was so thoughtful. We had everything we needed and then some. The cabin was so clean and smelled so lovely that I hated to cook! The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck drinking our coffee and listening to the sounds of the creek. To say it is pet friendly is an understatement. They want to make sure your fur baby enjoys their vacation too! They truly go above and beyond for their guests!!! 

We stayed at this cabin this past holiday weekend. The location of the cabin is top notch - Just a short drive to Blue Ridge where there are lots of cute shops, restaurants and groceries. The cabin is in a very peaceful location on the creek which was lovely to sit next to and relax!
We used the hot tub and fire pit - both were a nice treat and great way to wind down the days.
My group was 5 adults and the bedrooms/bathrooms worked out really well. The cabin has everything we needed, they even have a fantastic book with all sorts of great info on the area.
We would absolutely rent this cabin again and highly recommend it! 

The house has a very unique setting of being surrounded by trees yet right on the river. We spent most of the time on the main deck complete with hot tub, dining table and lounge furniture. All rooms were well equipped, organized and labeled. They provided detailed instructions for house amenities as well as information on local attractions, restaurants & emergency services. Was also extremely dog friendly & our pups loved the private dog park! The town of Blue Ridge is very cute although we spent most of our time enjoying the house! We can’t wait to go back!  

Everything was exactly as described! The hosts were super quick to respond with questions I had. The property is beautiful. My biggest plus was how clean it was. Even though it is a dog friendly spot, we did not see one dog hair! Although we are dog owners ourselves, my kids suffer from allergies and cleanliness is a MUST. I have to say this place is better than we expected! We will be back!  

 We LOVED our stay here! The host was amazing and really helped us out when our previous Air B&B was cancelled. The place was perfect for what we needed! It was covered in snow and so beautiful too! They had all the accommodations for us and our pups. We definitely will be back! I wish I could give more stars than 5!
